AXIS Tech has taken large orders in Europe
The energy production solutions and metal processing company AXIS Tech, which started offering transportation equipment production services a year ago, has now signed deals for 2.8 million. euros. The company supplies custom-made conveyor systems to four different facilities in Portugal, Germany and Latvia.
“We have been designing and manufacturing belt conveyors since the beginning of our activity, previously it was a part of boiler production. Seeing the need for this equipment as a separate product, we offered different markets for the production of various conveyor systems. We have already implemented the first orders and are further expanding these activities in the domestic and foreign markets, ”says Paulius Arštikys, CEO of AXIS Tech.
The company designs and manufactures all types of stationary and mobile belt conveyor, belt, screw, scraper conveyor systems according to individual orders. “We hope that non-standard products will soon become our standard products,” says P. Arštikys.
The first turnkey transportation system was manufactured by AXIS Tech for a mining company in Portugal, commissioned by its partner in Spain. Due to the limitations of COVID-19, the start of the mobile conveyor was delayed, but the unit was successfully launched earlier this year.
In Germany, AXIS Tech will produce equipment for the sugar factory. Much of the equipment for this facility has already been manufactured and is being delivered. After completing the supply of equipment in February, the company will start installation in April, with commissioning for the new beet campaign 2021 in autumn.
In the summer of 2020, AXIS Tech signed another big contract with Riga Bulk Terminal, Latvia. The company is contributing to the development of the terminal and has started to install the manufactured conveyor, which will be used to transport bulk products to the ship loading machine.
“We see prospects for this activity not only in the future, but also in the home markets. Some of the Lithuanian companies operating in the bulk product handling market are planning development – we will be happy to contribute to it, ”says P. Arštikys.
The company, which grows a basket of projects and a variety of activities, undertook structural changes earlier this year to better organize its work. Some of AXIS Tech’s employees were transferred to the Lithuanian branch of a manufacturing company operating in Estonia. “This change will not have a negative impact on employees’ wages or working conditions,” says P. Arštikys.
